Came relatively quick which was a bonus as the flies have been a constant nuisance and no one wants to suffocate on fly spray fumes! It does the job and I killed a fly the day I got it. It makes a slight noise but not much and does what it needs to do. Just don’t hold the button down for too long once a fly is inside it because the body gives off a little smoke which doesn’t smell great (not that I’m a psychopath, I just wanted to make sure it was dead lol) but that’s to be expected when an insect is getting a prolonged shock!
This zapper is not as powerful as I hoped. It gives house flies a shock but they fly straight away if you don't either cook them on the wire for 10 seconds or finish them off with your foot. Wasps on the other hand it does take out in one quick hit. Perhaps house flies are harder than they appear....... also works well on mosquitos and vinegar flies !
Noise level is great - it is silent...why...because it doesn't work like it should. Flies laugh at this product. Pointless having batteries as you will do more to the fly by swatting it with the racket rather than what the electrical current would do to it. Also, after 'swatting' a few times, the batteries in the battery chamber dislodge themselves, so you have to keep opening the chamber to reset the batteries in their place, however don't waste your time as the electrical current does nothing to a fly, so no need for batteries on this so called 'zapper'
Thought the bat would be bigger than it was as my last one was a lot bigger although it did work well only problem was you had to keep finger on the buzzer
Personally this is pretty ineffective. This only stuns flies, unless our flies are super strength. It also has a flimsy battery holder, the batteries lose connection.
Kills flying insects and other annoying things. Dispatched a fair amount of flies and wasps this summer with this little handy racquet! Worth every penny
